The great American poet, John Russell Lowell wrote on his theology of life:
God is in all that liberates and lifts,
In all that humbles, sweetens, and consoles.
The Divine Presence is manifest in the world around us in so many simple ways: a kind word from a friend, a smile from a stranger, a hand held out to support someone in need.
God’s presence surrounds us, waiting for us to discover it.
May the Holy One of Blessing enable us to be messengers of all that liberates and lifts, and to see al that humbles, sweetens and consoles.
May this be God’s will. Amen
