O God, the Father of all mankind,
Send your blessing upon us and all your children.
Forgive us for the problems we have caused in your world,
For the selfishness of nations,
For the waste of natural resources,
For the injustices done by the powerful to the powerless,
For our disobedience to your way of love.
Make us instruments of your will and give us:
The ability to admit when we are wrong,
The courage to stand for what we know is right,
The determination to fight for the poor and the oppressed,
And the faith to believe that with you all things is possible.--AMEN.
