Those engaged in public service have been blessed with a unique opportunity to live a life of meaning, to know that what they do has a tangible impact on the lives of others, and to leave this world in better shape than how they found it.
May the Holy One bless us with wisdom and with patience, and grant us insight and compassion. May it be the will of the Creator that our work not be in vain, and may we be as free in giving blessings as we are with taking them. May this be God’s will. Amen.
