The American historian, Abraham Geiger wrote on his philosophy of life. He taught: “Draw from the past, live in the present, work for the future.”
May we have the wisdom to draw on the varied experiences of our own lives and from the lives of others. May we never forget to savor every moment as we live it. And may the work of our days bring about a world renewed and redeemed. May this be God’s will. Amen.
