John Quincy Adams defined leadership in this way, he said: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
True leadership requires more than strong or inspiring words, it requires action and leading by example both in the public and the private sphere. And responsible leadership requires that we act with integrity and an understanding of the long lasting consequences of our deeds.
May the Holy One guide us in our daily tasks, inspiring us to act with honor and honesty and to live lives worth emulating. May this be God’s will. Amen.
