Almighty God,
We thank you for the privilege of living in the most beautiful state in America. We thank you for the freedom we have to choose our path of faith. We thank you for the diversity of backgrounds, talents and creativity that make up our neighborhoods and cities. We thank you for the privilege to serve our communities and ask that you will guide us to make decisions that will bring the greatest good to all.
We ask for the wisdom to provide the highest quality education for our children and safety wherever they may go. Establish peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, and peace in the halls of justice.
We pray that those who have stumbled will granted grace to get up again and grow. We ask that our sorrows will be turned into joy and our broken dreams into a mosaic of hope.
