On this day, we are thankful for the freshness of the morning air, for the rain and snow that we sorely need. And we thank you especially for our families, friends and colleagues. Today, we are most grateful for the life of Rueben Medina, a long-time member of our Senate family, who passed away this week. During this day, help us to be aware that in all that we do and in all that we are, you are there, Holy God. Help each of us to act in that awareness of you, making choices that honor your vision for the world you have entrusted to us.-AMEN.
