Prayer Offered for May 12, 2025
Prayer was offered by the Chaplain, Sister Michelle Gorman, RSM:
Gracious God of many names, teach us Your ways, that we may notice the ingenious ways You manifest in the diversity of all people.
Teach us Your ways, that we may celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, not because we have to, but because we rejoice in the many gifts of art, music, science, technology, food, and culture they share with the world.
Teach us Your ways, that we may all be in solidarity to ensure peace, safety, and security for each person.
May this AAPI Heritage Month not just be a time of recognition, but a call to each of us to continue to honor, uplift, and protect the beauty of every heritage on our planet.
We ask this in Your name.—AMEN.
