Prayer Offered for April 26, 2021

Gracious and merciful God, today we pray for the consolation and the compassion of the Armenian people as they recall the genocide that was perpetrated on them in 1915.

May they not despair as we hope for reconciliation with all those who oppress others.

May all of us throughout the world not turn our heads in apathy when injustice is inflicted on any of our brothers and sisters.

May all of us learn to practice compassion by being truly present to each other.

And may we not forget that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Asdvadz Orhneh. We ask this in Your name.—AMEN.
