Let us pray, to be grateful for what is.
To find good amid the unwanted aspects of life,
without denying the presence of the unwanted.
To be present to one’s own small space,
while stretching to the wide world beyond it.
To search for and to see the good in others,
not looking for faults and weaknesses.
To be thankful for each loving deed,
no matter how insignificant it might appear.
To strive to be loving and caring,
in situations that consistently challenge these virtues.
To be at peace with what cannot be changed.
This we pray in faith.—AMEN.
