God who is always with us on the journey, we pray that out of the chaos of this year we will emerge with renewed strength and energy to bring peace and prosperity to our state. And until we meet on this floor again, may the almighty and merciful Lord lead us along ways of health and safety. And may the human connections we’ve made with our colleagues and staff transcend our differences and fortify our commitment to do good and to serve others wherever our respected paths may lead us.
