Almighty God, we lift before You all who govern California. Make us always remember Your generosity and goodness. Bless our land with honesty in the workplace, truth in education and honor in daily life. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance; and cynicism and despair. At times when we prosper, give us grateful hearts. And in moments of trouble, turn us to trust and faith. We pray in the holy and sacred name of eternal God.—AMEN.
