Let these be your desires….

To wake at dawn with a winged heart

And give thanks for another day of loving.

Gracious and loving God, as we begin this day, help us to be grateful for the possibilities it holds:

Give wings to our hearts, enabling us to soar above the limitations of yesteryear’s challenges;

Liberate our hearts to attempt the seemingly impossible tasks we desire to accomplish;

And soften our hearts to love even the disruptive opportunities that daily present themselves.

Let our winged hearts soar in waves of gratitude for all that is.—AMEN.
