God of many unanswered questions, as we prepare for the road of vacation this summer, help us to go forth in freedom: the freedom of knowing that our work has promoted the common good of California; the freedom to trust that what is still undone is held in Your caring hands; and the freedom to allow the questions in our hearts to keep us alert to new possibilities.
Give us eyes, not just for the road, but for our companions on the road as well, so that together we understand Your need for our faith and trust, as we line into mystery and surprise.─AMEN.
