Prayer Offered for May 20, 2019

Psalm 84 says: Blessed are they who put their trust in You, O Loving Creator of the Universe.

They do not give way to doubt or fear; they dwell within Your peace.

Loving Creator, may we rest within Your peace:

When inner turmoil and conflict threaten our serenity;

When our lives are overly full, and we wonder how we will complete what is required;

When we have concern and apprehension over unresolved issues;

When we enter into the pain and suffering of the world;

When we hurt for friends, relatives, and others who are distressed;

When fear of the future rises up, and the way ahead is uncertain and unsettled;

When we feel at a distance even from You, in whom we desire to trust,

Loving Creator, may we rest within Your peace.—AMEN.
