Prayer Offered for May 31, 2018

            Creator Spirit, how utterly mysterious is this existence you have placed us in.

            If we were to despair of understanding it all, we could feel justified:

            Conflict and tragedy, pain and death surround us, but so does every kind of love, with beauty and wisdom in every tree and star.

            Everywhere we look, there is evidence of altruism among us humans. Be with is in making sense of it all, trusting that beneath everything is meaning, direction, and purpose.—AMEN.
