Prayer Offered for September 4, 2015

On this Labor Day weekend, we pray for all who shoulder the tasks of human labor. 
            We thank You for the gift and opportunity of work; may our efforts result in blessings for the lives of others. 
            We pray for all those seeking employment; may they be successful in their search for fulfilling work. 
            We pray in gratitude for the valuable contributions of those who are now retired; may they enjoy the fruits of their labors.
            In all that we do, may our working and our resting give praise to You, our generous God.─AMEN.
