Loving God, on this Labor Day weekend, we pray for all who shoulder the tasks of human labor.
We thank You for the gift and opportunity of work; may our efforts result in blessings for the lives of others.
We pray for all those seeking employment; may they be successful in their search for fulfilling work.
We pray in gratitude for the valuable contributions of those who are now retired; may they enjoy the fruits of their labors.
In all we do, may our working and our resting give praise to You, our generous God.—AMEN.
