O God, make us Your salt for the Earth—
that, in our own humble, hidden acts
of generosity and peace
we may reveal Your love in the midst of us all.
Make us Your light for the world—
that we may reflect Your compassion and forgiveness,
the light and warmth of Your love
in the midst of a cold winter.
Make us Your city on a hill—
the vision of Your dream of a world
united in Your justice and mercy.
We ask this in Your name.—AMEN.
