Creator, God, Source of Hope, we pause to honor the privilege of shaping the wellbeing of California. In this moment of stillness, may clarity rise and purpose deepen. Howard Thurman reminds us, “Don’t ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive and go do it.”
May we always come alive to the work of justice and compassion across this state. May today’s decisions reflect vitality, courage, and a commitment to the common good of all who call California home sweet home.
