God of all nations and peoples, we pray for our public servants here in the California Senate, that they work in a spirit of wisdom, charity, and justice. Inspire Senators to use their authority to serve faithfully that all Californians enjoy a peaceful and just society and inspire and empower future courageous leaders. Grant that our shared public life be grounded in ardor for our neighbors, care for the vulnerable, and zeal for the common life we share. Namaste. Thanks be to God.—AMEN.
