Almighty God, Gracious Redeemer,You form humanity to bear Your image. We pray for all people, whether ourselves or others, who suffer the cruelties of prejudice. Grant Your Spirit of power to all who are oppressed. Give healing to victims of violence, protection to the vulnerable and abused, a safe home and worthy employment to the mistreated, courage to the fearful, remedy for rage, strength to caregivers, and hope for the young. Purge arrogance and nurture reconciliation and cooperation. We ask that with Your creative Spirit You cultivate new relationships, and mend old wounds. Deepen respect, community, and love among all who seek justice and peace. Namaste. Thanks be to God.—AMEN.
