Prayer Offered for August 27, 2026

I invite you to join me, each in your own way, as we enter a moment of prayer or mindful presence.

Creator God, Source, Hope, as we near the end of this busy season, we pray, meet us with calm where the days have been full and with compassion where we may feel worn, even torn. Let a quiet sense of clarity rise. Let gentleness guide what remains. We remember Mary Oliver’s words that “attention is the beginning of devotion.” May we lend attention to the way we see, honor, and make room for one another and what lies ahead. These petitions we submit. —AMEN.
